Friday, April 8th
Pre-Event Opportunities – Gleaning at Suzie's Farm and Seasonal Cooking with Local Foods: Do you like to get your hands messy in the dirt, the kitchen, or both? We need a lot of hands to help with gleaning food from Suzie’s Farm as well as prepping and preparing food for Saturday.

Prepping at Home: Pick up food at the City Heights Wellness Center between 5 and 6 p.m., and prep at home for Sunday's Potluck.
Food pickup: 5-6 p.m., bring potluck dish on Sunday
Picking Up Day-Olds: Pick up day-olds from generous donors. (Requires car.)
Cardamom Bakery & Cafe pickup: 2-2:30 p.m.
Panera Bread pickup: 9-9:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 9th
Signage Team: We'll be posting signs to help people find the event and workshop locations.
Saturday Team: 8-8:45 a.m.
Food: Involves putting out breakfast and lunch, serving, and cleaning up.
Morning Shift: 9-noon
Afternoon Shift: 12-3
Picking Up Day-Olds: Pick up day-olds from generous donors. (Requires car.)
Cardamom Bakery & Cafe pickup: 2-2:30 p.m.
Panera Bread pickup: 9-9:30 p.m.
Potluck Crew: Do you love to cook? We need volunteers to take home left over food and prepare a potluck dish for conference attendees to enjoy the following day.
Pick up food on Saturday, bring potluck dish on Sunday
Techies: Preferably with availability for a 1-2 hour video-training workshop the week prior to the event (though this is not mandatory). Involves being responsible for a videocamera, videotaping an entire session from beginning to end, and returning videotape. Possible help with uploading.
Training: 1-2 hour workshop on Friday, April 8
Morning Shift: 10-12:45
Afternoon Shift: 1:15-2:45
Registration Table: Involves setting up and taking down table, staffing table, checking people in, giving them information, directing them and answering questions.
Morning Shift: 8-11
Afternoon Shift: 11-2
Merchandising: Help us sell t-shirts and tote bags so that we can put on this conference again next year! Involves staffing table, selling tee-shirts and tote bags, recording sales, providing product info and pricing, and being responsible with money.
Morning Shift: 8-2, then help move merchandise to gym
Afternoon Shift: 2-4:30 (in the gym, so you'll see the keynote!)
Help in Child Activities Center: We try to make the event easy for parents with small children to attend and enjoy. Volunteers will supervise activities such as arts and crafts, gardening and games as well as make sure kids are comfortable and have eaten, drank water, etc.
Morning Shift: 9-12:30
Afternoon Shift: 1:15-4 (will finish in time for keynote speaker)
Sunday, April 10th
Food: We won't be cooking on Sunday but will need general help managing potluck dishes, serving, and cleaning them up. We will also need some help handing out vouchers for the farmer's market.
Morning Shift: 9-noon
Afternoon Shift: noon-2:15
